Competitive Advantage in an Era of Innovation

In her first landmark address in Brussels, Ginni Rometty, Chairman, President and CEO of IBM, will offer her perspective on what will drive the next global wave of innovation and productivity. Ms. Rometty – named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine and the most powerful woman in business in 2012 by Fortune Magazine – leads one of the world’s largest and most innovative enterprises, employing some 400,000 people around the globe. In her lecture, entitledCompetitive Advantage in an Era of Innovation, Ms. Rometty, will discuss the imperative of spurring new sources of growth, driven by innovation and powered by digital technologies, to help Europe exit the crisis and regain global competitiveness.
Constantijn van Oranje, head of cabinet of Neelie Kroes, European Commission Vice-President responsible for the Digital Agenda; and Giles Babinet, serial entrepreneur, Digital Champion for France, previous chair of the French National Digital Council, will act as discussants.
