CIP Eco-Innovation Information Day: Thursday, 8 May 2012 in Brussels

The European Commission is holding an Information Day for the CIP Eco-Innovation Programme on Thursday, 8 May 2012 in Brussels.
The Eco-Innovation Programme allocates EUR 200 million between 2008-2013 for projects which demonstrate sustainability in the field of environmental innovation. There are five main strands to the initiative:
- Materials recycling and recycling processes;
Sustainable building products;
Food and drink sector;
Water efficiency, treatment and distribution;
The CIP Eco-Innovation Day will provide over 350 participants with an overview of the funding and application process, and provide information on how to develop a good project proposal and find project partners across Europe. Participants include SME, chambers of commerce, businesses, trade associations, NGOs and others.
The event is being held at the Charlemagne Building, Rue de la Loi 170, 1049 Brussels.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
