European Business Angel Network announces 11th EBAN Winter University in Istanbul, Turkey on 17-18 January 2013

Date: 17 January 2013 - 18 November 2012
Location: Istanbul, Turkey, 09:00 - 17:00
Website: Visit website

The 11th EBAN Winter University will take place in Istanbul on the 17th and 18th of January 2013 and will be focused on Exits.

Every investor knows an investment must come down to an exit. Business angels' and early stage funds' investments are no different and need exit perspectives in order to keep investing and nurtering their businesses. The Winter University will host an interesting debate around investors with strong experience in going through exit processes so that you can learn and share your own experience.

We will also approach other relevant topics such as the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the relation between angel investing and public support, corporate investors and much more in the two days event: EBAN Institute Workshops on day 1 (17/Jan) and Winter University on day 2 (18/Jan).

Turkey is now a hotbed of angel investing since the government announced, some weeks ago, a 75 % tax credit on all investments up to 1 Million Turkish Lira (a little more than 500K Euros) by high-wealth individuals. Super Angels and Venture Capitalists are now traveling more and more to Turkey. In little less than 8 years, Turkey has transformed itself into an entrepreneurial, innovative economy with many sectors experiencing double digit growth.

Join us in Istanbul and we trust you will also find new business opportunities with your next visit!
