Location: Brussels, 09:00 - 12:00
Website: Visit website

Brussels, January 31st 2012, 10:00 – 13:00

European Economic and Social Committee

TRE 7701, 7th floor, Treves Building, 74, rue de Trèves, 1040 Brussels

During 2 years of activity (Feb 2010 – Jan 2011) ACCESS ICT provided to over 100 ICT SMEs and researchers the opportunity to interact with early stage investors. For business angels and early stage funds this was also an opportunity to get to know the promising business opportunities that are commercialised following participation in EU R&D projects.

ACCESS IST’s Final Conference will overview the activities held and best practices and highlight the achievements that were critical for the success of the initiative. The session will also go through the sustainability of the project and will bring to discussion the policy recommendations proposed by ACCESS ICT with the support of its Steering Group.

As Horizon 2020 is actively being discussed in Europe, this is the right time to debate some of ACCESS ICT’s conclusions and involve the most relevant stakeholders from different sectors. A round table of selected participants from the public and private sectors will be at the core of this session that will be extended to all organisations willing to give a contribute to the future of access to finance in Europe and specially to the commercialisation and growth stages of European funded R&I.

For further information, please check the conference website.
