European Funding Academy 2014-2020 – Autumn Edition will take place in the breathtaking surroundings of Visegrád, Hungary, situated 40km north of Budapest on the right bank of Danube.
This 4-day intensive course will get you prepared for the 2014-2020 EU funding period by providing a deep insight to the new major EU Programmes of 2014-2020 and by drawing on the lessons learned from 2007-2013 proposals and projects.
Lecturers are experienced Project Managers and Coordinators
This course is built on our direct experience gained over the past 15 years from developing and submitting proposals and implementing projects under the EU Programmes, in particular, FP5, FP6, FP7, CIP, LIFE/LIFE+ and LLP.
The lecturers and workshop leaders are flesh-and-bone project managers and coordinators, whose day-to-day work is to turn innovative project concepts into competitive proposals and implement projects according to EC Grant Agreement, tackling problems promptly, and assisting project partners in legal, technical and financial management issues.
Europa Media has been actively following the developments and updates on the new programmes of the EU 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework and our current and past EC projects give us an insight on the future expectations of the European Commission. European Funding Academy 2014-2020 goes beyond the text of the Multiannual Financial Framework and Programme Regulations – it will present real-life examples, analyse actual proposals and evaluation summary reports, show success and failure stories, and discuss technical reviews and financial audits.
Lectures and workshops on Proposal Development, Technical and Financial Management, EU Funding programmes in 2014-2020
Experience Europa Media's famous "learning-by-doing" approach – presentations in the morning, then practice your newly-gained knowledge during the workshops specifically designed for the particular topics:
Proposal Development: develop a project concept in response to a work programme topic (“call”). After going through a simple exercise, you will be encouraged to pursue a new way of thinking - a method to ensure that you get started in the right way. You will then further develop your proposal concept by designing a work plan with work packages, a Gantt and PERT diagram, creating an ideal consortium and a realistic budget.
Technical and Financial Management: solve real-life case scenarios in small groups acting like a project consortium. Debate, fight for your rights, compromise, and find solutions to various technical and financial challenges in project implementation.
