The European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) is a world class annual event which, since 1980, is held at different venues throughout Europe. It covers the entire value chain of biomass to conduct business, network, and to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations. The vision is to educate the biomass community and to accelerate growth.

The EUBCE will host a dynamic international exhibition for companies and research labs to showcase their latest products and bringing scientists, technologists and key players together with leading biomass industries and organisations.

The EUBCE is the event in which the members of the bioenergy community can get a broad picture of the situation and trends emerging in today's market.

The Conference provides a high-level scientific programme and parallel events which attract participants from a wide-ranging background: researchers, engineers, technologists, standards organisations, financial institutions, policy makers and decision makers.

This event is supported by European and international organizations. The Technical Programme is coordinated by DG Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.

Great response to Call for Papers confirms EUBCE's international relevance

Thanks to more than 3,500 authors and co-authors, 1050+ abstracts have been submitted from 79 countries; received abstracts cover the entire range of biomass knowledge and technologies.

The international Programme Committee made up of 142 leading research and industry experts from the global Biomass sector scored and selected some 270 plenary and oral presentations, and more than 750 visual presentations.

Each abstract has been evaluated by independent reviewers before the topic organisers met in Brussels to select the oral and visual presentations addressing the entire biomass supply chain.

72 Conference Sessions will cover the entire scope of innovations in biomass technologies and applications, systems and processes, markets and policies.

Industry oriented abstracts have been distributed among different topics and will be presented during the central days of the Conference.

The programme will include keynote and plenary scientific and industry presentations about each Conference subject.
