|Date:||23 May 2016|
23 May, 2016 - Résidence Palace, 155 rue de la Loi, 1040 Brussels, BELGIUM
By 2050, more than 6.3 billion people will have been born in or moved to the world’s leading cities, adding up to increasingly intolerable levels of congestion. That is, unless the new economy can be unleashed to help find novel solutions to moving people around cities more effectively. Fortunately, some of the world’s leading thinkers are well ahead on this problem, investigating how technology can help address this issue. At this high-level summit, leading entrepreneurs and policymakers will debate the coming challenge of urban mobility – and the solutions that innovative transportation models based on new technology can bring. The summit will be intellectually informed by a major speech fromTravis Kalanick, CEO and co-founder of Uber Technologies, Inc., the global ride-share service.
