10 June, 2014 - Résidence Palace, 155 rue de la Loi, 1040 Brussels, BELGIUM
With a public consultation on Europe’s flagship growth and jobs strategy ongoing, the World Economic Forum launches the latest edition of its Europe 2020 Competitiveness Report.
The study draws on the World Economic Forum’s global competitiveness and benchmarking data, including the executive opinion survey, as well as other international sources such as the OECD or UNESCO and uses a methodology that mirrors the Europe 2020 Strategy. The goal of the report is to provide a platform for constructive dialogue between business, civil society, governments and European institutions on the areas requiring attention and improvement in order to achieve a competitive, inclusive and sustainable Europe. The report aims to encourage positive policy reform and the necessary investments required to further Europe’s economic and social progress.
