The consultant's work will contribute towards the achievement of results for the Transformative Governance and Finance Facility – II. The Sahel Alliance Coordination Unit, based for the past year at the Agence Française du Dévelopement (AFD) ensures the management and coordination of the Alliance and will be passed on to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in 2019-2020, in the context of a rotating mandate. The Coordination unit will be based in Brussels.
The consultant will play a lead role in developing and producing various specified analytical products and outputs of the team, including the Risk Monitor, the Central Asia VE UN study, as well as a Western Balkans Youth, Peace and Security Survey, at the same time contributing to knowledge management both within IRH and more broadly in the UN system as required.
