World Bank recruiting Consultant for Non-Financial Services Development for Bank Clients

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

IFC's Sustainable Business Advisory (SBA) is seeking to recruit a consultant to support IFC financial market clients in developing non-financial service (NFS) strategies to strengthening SMEs. The main activities considered are to:

  • Develop a NFS product offering

  • Develop a NFS operation manual with already identified consultants

  • Identification of a pool of skilled consultants that will help IFC clients develop NFS strategies

  • Support banks to design and implement an NFS strategy, including operational support to implement IFC solutions as part of this strategy (such as SME Toolkit and Business Edge, and other products to be developed)

  • Facilitate NFS knowledge sharing amongst financial institutions through study tours. This assignment will be implemented over 12-month period with maximum 150 working days/year, with possibility of extension for another year, if need be.
