International Organisation hiring Lecturer in Courses for Maritime Analysis

The 4 years / 5.5M€ European Union "CRIMARIO Project" is financed under the "Critical Maritime Routes" programme (CMR) of the "Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace" (IcSP) of the European Commission.
The overall project objective is to enhance maritime security and safety in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden regions through information sharing and capacity building, promoting regional cooperation.
The "training and capacity building" component of the project has developed courses, workshops and events to the benefit of the countries of the Indian Ocean. A series of courses focused on "Analysis of maritime oriented data" will begin in late July beginning of August.
The CRIMARIO project management team is requesting short term expertise (STE) to prepare and/or deliver lessons to the benefit of maritime analysts of national agencies (both civilian and military) from the Indian Ocean involved in the action of state at sea. The selected STE will train the audience to set up and operate search and watch tools for Internet, and publish the results automatically to some selected correspondents.
Duration: 14 days
In coordination with the EU CRIMARIO representative in the field, the Short-Term Expert(s) shall carry out the following specific tasks:
Develop course support documentation (for attendees and teacher) for above lessons, in French or English in accordance with with para "expected results".
Deliver 18 hours (6 hours per day) of lessons in the region. The dates are given at para "expected results".
The full course support documentation (for attendees and teacher) is delivered to the CRIMARIO expert ( firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than May 29 2017. Duration of the lessons: 18 hours, to be delivered in three days. See para "Deliverables" for important details.
The lecturer will participate as Short Term Expert (STE) in accordance with the European Commission standards.
The lessons will be delivered on August 01 and 02, and on October 26 (focusing on table top exercise).
Course support documentation (for attendees and instructor) for above lessons, in French or English, as mentioned in para "Deliverables" for important details. This includes as a minimum electronic slides and guidance companion for the instructor in accordance with the format that will be provided on request (email@example.com), and an English<-> French glossary of technical terms and acronyms.
Following topics should be covered at a minimum: available free tools on Internet, alert settings, search equation, news aggregators (with tutorial using a free tool on Internet), publication (with tutorial using a free tool on Internet), and organisation of teamworking.
Number of working days
Development of course documentation (once): 5 working days.
Delivery of the first course (August): 5 working days (1 preparation at home, 2 travel, 2 delivery on site).
Delivery of the second course (October): 4 working days (1 preparation at home, 2 travel, 1 delivery on site).
The total days is 14 days (one development, two courses).
