Programme Manager is responsible for the management and substantive coordination of SCE Global Programme. From the Global Technical support unit in Geneva, the Programme Manager will work closely with Country Project Managers in selected countries the UN Women Information System and Telecommunication Section (IST) and other UN Women Sections. The Programme Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management, implementation and effectiveness of the SCE Programme. In particular, he/she is responsible for the monitoring and review of the programme portfolio, workplans and budget, for preparing reports as required by donor and UN Women management, and to mobilize resources as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the programme development and planning services related to Second Chance Education (SCE)
Manage the implementation of the Global SCE Programme
Manage the monitoring and reporting of the global programme
Provide technical guidance and support to country offices
Build partnerships and support in developing resource mobilization Strategies
Establish and support partnerships within and beyond the UN system
Manage the SCE team
