World Bank recruiting Consultant to develop Bank Credit Scoring Model

Hiring a Consultant to develop a Credit Scoring Model for the Khan Bank of Mongolia. IFC intends to implement in Mongolia an Advisory Services SME Banking Program to increase access to finance to Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs). The Program features partnerships with a number of Financial Institutions (FIs) in Mongolia which are ready to expand their outreach to the SME market on a national level, and will consist of a capacity building exercise to improve the SME Banking competencies of selected FIs.

The work will focus on development of the credit scoring models for the SME loans, Consumer Loans and Credit Cards of the KhanBank of Mongolia which will increase the banks SME Banking competencies as well as the retail business operations.

Timeline

The assignment is expected to begin on 1st October, 2014 and IFC and the participating FI expect the onsite work to be completed within 5-6 months from the above-mentioned start date. The additional 6 days of post-project support and advice will be provided following the completion of this onsite work with the Bank. For the sake of clarity, the provision of all services under this Terms of Reference will cease 12 months from the start date.
