IREX recruiting Communications Associate

The communications associate will manage IREX's main social media accounts, developing high-quality, strategically aligned content that will engage and inspire our target audiences in Washington, DC and around the world. The communications associate will dedicate significant time to communications for large-scale project events. An important part of the Strategic Communications team, the associate will assist with other IREX-wide communications activities and other project-related activities.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create social media editorial calendar; develop and post content
Manage IREX social media accounts and selected program accounts
Assist in producing events, including major conferences and more intimate thought-leadership events
Develop and procure marketing materials; process vendor payments
Track and compile monthly analytics data for social networks and website
Track and compile weekly press mentions
Develop web stories and other editorial content
Other duties as assigned
