DAI recruiting Tourism Marketing Team Leader

Description

The purpose of the Building Economic Sustainability through Tourism (BEST) in Jordan is to provide support to increase economic growth and job creation in Jordan’s tourism sector by providing:

  • An enabling environment supportive of competitiveness in the tourism industry;

  • Development, maintenance, and improvement of Jordan’s tourism assets in ways that increase demand;

  • Expansion, development, and deepening of source markets; and

  • Increased access to finance for Jordanian businesses and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.

Core Responsibilities

The TM Team Leader must have a proven track record of successfully implementing tourism marketing activities, either at the national or regional level in developing or developed economies. This person will need to have strong interpersonal and negotiating skills and the ability to identify key niche marketing opportunities as well as be able to articulate strategic marketing objectives.
