The International Development team works with bilateral and multilateral donor organisations implementing projects across the world.

Job summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a recruiter in our Madrid office to support our international development team located in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will be part of a team planning and implementing innovative recruitment strategies and approaches. Principal activities will include:

  • Promoting AECOM to attract world-class project managers and technical specialists

  • Working with internal teams to develop recruitment strategies and job descriptions for specific new business opportunities or ongoing projects

  • Guiding candidates through the recruitment process in a professional manner

  • Strategic recruitment for priority business areas

  • Facilitating the selection of high-quality project teams, for example through the development of long-lists and short-lists of candidates

  • Careful vetting of shortlisted candidates

  • Negotiating candidate compensation

  • Preparing impactful CVs and descriptions of candidates in formats required by clients

  • Maintaining internal recruitment databases

The role involves working to tight deadlines. A key part of the role will be to develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and in-house and external consultants. The successful candidate will be customer oriented with strong written and oral communications skills and must be able to travel internationally on occasions.

Duration: 6 months + permanent contract.
