International Organisation hiring Creative Project Manager

The Internet Freedom Festival's Creative Project Manager will coordinate all conference and event-related activities of the Internet Freedom Festival (IFF) 2017 under the direction of the IFF Director. S/he will provide operational support to the IFF Director and the rest of the IFF team. This position is located in New York City, NY.

This position is contingent on funding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the programme Design , Funding and Project Management efforts of the IFF 2017;

  • Be first point of contact of the IFF team with attendees, presenters, partners, friends, track leads and volunteers;

  • Contribute to the overall design of the event with creative input;

  • Develop fundraising strategy and work plan;

  • Prepare comprehensive logistical plan for the conference, including scheduling and coordinating services such as room setup, audio/visual equipment and support, etc.;

  • Be a point of contact for all onsite work, including coordinating logistics and local partners during the festival;

  • Manage preparation and distribution of promotional materials and event setup requirements;

  • Design pre- and during-event workflows;

  • Design and implement guidelines for Track Leads and best practices for presenters;

  • Set feedback gathering mechanisms to respond to the IFF key performance indicators for 2017;

  • Assist with reports, noting attendance, times, significant problems, and other key performance indicators;

  • Travel internationally for other events and conferences, as well as to Spain in March of 2017 for the Internet Freedom Festival;
