European Bank hiring Debt Funds Analyst

The incumbent contributes to the development of European Bank Debt Funds business plan, reporting to the Head of Analytics and New Products, who in turn reports to the Head of Guarantees, Securitisation and Microfinance Department. The job requires a constant interface with other parts of the European Bank and with external counterparties (including, amongst others, fund managers and SME credit specialists).

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of senior staff, contribute to origination, due diligence, structuring and negotiation of transactions;

  • Carry out a thorough technical analysis of the target portfolio, the investment entity and relevant team, covering qualitative and quantitative elements, and make all necessary research on prospect funds;

  • Prepare and actively participate to due diligence meetings. Draft comprehensive due diligence reports and well written/well thought out investment proposals in English;

  • Assist in the development of a network of high quality external contacts;

  • Contribute to the implementation of the European Bank Debt Funds business plan across Europe, including through the research and identification of sound business opportunities;

  • Manage existing transactions in collaboration with other team members as well as Risk Management and Monitoring.
