World Bank recruiting Consultant to Provide Assistance to the ICT Unit on E-government Service

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The portfolio of activities in the Africa and Maghreb regions is steadily growing and the ICT unit of the World Bank group is looking for a French speaking consultant who will support the teams working on various ICT topics and more specifically digital government and ICT services. As a first task, the consultant will closely work with the team of experts providing support to the Government of Algeria in the implementation of their National Broadband and Very High Broadband Strategy, which includes a section on Content and Services pertaining to e-government transformation. The team has been working with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications to deliver three notes based on the strategy and has started the second phase of this technical assistance, aimed at preparing a full implementation plan for Algeria's Strategy.
