International Organisation hiring Innovation Project Manager

The Research and Innovation programme, R&I, is seeking an Innovation Project Manager for the next 3 years, to drive proposals and execution of EU projects for the Organisation and to maximize the value of the results. Projects focus on raw materials, alternative feedstock for the chemical industry, new materials and resource efficiency. This charter also includes related policy components and industry communication activities in order to drive sustainable innovation across the value chain and demonstrate the chemical industry’s innovation capacity as solution provider through pilot projects. This will provide the opportunity to company personnel to gain exposure to a broad European institutional and stakeholder network and give insight into the project planning and implementation within the EU research and innovation programme.
Key areas of activities
Shaping and managing the work of the Organisation and the European Technology and Innovation Platform for Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem) especially on topics related to process technologies in the Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda of SusChem.
Driving active contributions of the chemical industry in EU-funded projects under Horizon 2020, including cross-sectorial initiatives (e.g. SPIRE Public Private Partnership (PPP)
Project management and execution of tasks on EU projects.
Proposing and supporting proposals for new EU projects and project partnerships fitting with Cefic’s Research & Innovation agenda.
Driving appropriate “innovation mind-set change” in related industry activities (sustainability flagships, energy, resource efficiency…), also in cooperation with other European stakeholder platforms.
