International Organisation hiring Technical Conference Consultant

The objective is to enhance the capabilities of Member States to address needs related to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of health problems through the development and application of nuclear techniques within a framework of quality assurance. International Organisation is organizing the International Conference on Clinical PET-CT and Molecular Imaging (IPET-III-2015) in the era of multimodality imaging and image-guided therapy on 5-9 October 2015. Medical imaging technology has revolutionized health care over the past 30 years; it enables early diagnosis and improves patient outcomes. This conference will provide a forum for clinicians, imaging specialists and scientists to review the important clinical aspects of cancer management and assessment of other diseases. It will also critically examine the pivotal role of streamlined and emerging multimodality imaging techniques with a view to addressing the health challenges common to many Member States.


  • Classify and track the progress of abstracts submitted for IPET-III into the INDICO (Integrated Digital Conferencing) abstract management system; clarify with abstract authors any technical ambiguities related to abstract classification.

  • Provide technical advisory services towards the comprehensive development of the scientific programme, applying the criteria that will be used for the application of continuous medical education (CME) credits under the European Accreditation Council for CME (EACCME) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) guidelines.

  • Assist in the preparation of book of abstracts and conference materials with special emphasis on maintaining scientific integrity of the materials in particular on scientific abstract classification and editing. Liaise with contributing authors to clarify technical issues.

  • Develop conference evaluation forms and collect, analyse and consolidate results after the conference, with special emphasis on extracting key emerging issues that will be used to improve the next IPET conference.

Contract duration: 1 year.
