UNICEF recruiting Content and Digital Media Consultant

Background and justification:
Digital engagement plays an important role in UNICEF's response to global shifts in the fields of communication, fundraising, advocacy and development. Use of digital media platforms helps position UNICEF in Belarus as a knowledge leader, expands outreach and broadens engagement around children's rights.
Effective use of digital channels for communication of UNICEF's key messages, through relevant content, experience and dialogue, allow individuals to connect directly with other individuals or groups, as well as brands and organisations, thus creating valuable relationships with both online and offline supporters.
In order to more effectively use digital communication platforms that will increase effectiveness of digital brand engagement, income generation through pledge fundraising and corporate partnerships, UNICEF in Belarus needs to engage an individual consultant.
Purpose and objectives:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Communication Specialist, the consultant will assist UNICEF Belarus Country Office in
development and production of multimedia content, including human interest stories, in order to increase media reach & visibility effectiveness,
web-related activities, including transfer to the new website and
social media outreach and integrating digital into all aspects of implementation of the Country Communications Strategy in line with the Global Communication and Public Advocacy Strategy.
