The Capacity Building Specialist will assist Algerian partner CSOs in developing curricula and training the trainers in CSO governance and management, internal policies and procedures, project management, advocacy, and network-building.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement capacity building activities to address identified needs through training, one-on-one mentoring and coaching.

  • Strengthen financial and administrative management procedures.

  • Train NGO staff on written policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

  • Develop workshop curricula on advocacy, policies and procedures and project management

  • Facilitate ToTs and training workshops

  • Needs assessments

  • Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Reporting

  • Travel to various regions of Algeria
