International Organisation hiring ICT Expert for Professional Development


Tbilisi, Georgia, 26 November 2015

Summary of Position

International Organisation seeks an ICT for Professional Development Expert for the Millennium Challenge Account funded Training Educators for Excellence Project in Georgia. The activity is expected to reach all secondary school math, science, geography, ICT and English teachers and secondary school principals in Georgia with improved in-service training and to integrate classroom assessments into the Georgian national curriculum.

The position is a part-time consultancy, roughly 5 months over a 36 month period. The position is contingent on funding. Citizens of Georgia are encouraged to apply.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Work with TPDC to build their capacity for training teachers in the integration of ICT into student-centered instruction.

  • Work closely with team members to determine a strategic approach to ICT for Education training that takes into account the necessary prerequisites for sustainable Technology in Education programmes
