Kantor Management Consultants hiring Policy and Strategy Coordinator

Background

Kantor is shortlisted to participate in a tender for the EU-funded “Horizontal Support to Coordination with International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and bilateral donors in the Western Balkans”.

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the Western Balkans through improved and enhanced coordination of investment policies and support programmes between the IFIs, bilateral donors and the Commission.

The project is focused around three main results:

  • Result 1: Improved coordination of policy and strategy approaches to socio-economic development across the different Western Balkan Investment Framework (WBIF) stakeholders, contributing to stimulating growth and the EU accession process.

  • Result 2: Enhanced functioning of the WBIF throughout the entire project cycle from project identification to realisation of the investments supported by this innovative financing facility.

  • Result 3: Improved communication and information flows among all WBIF stakeholders – Beneficiaries, EC, IFIs and bilateral donors and greater public awareness of the assistance being provided by the WBIF financiers. 

Job description

The Policy and Strategy Coordinator will support research and analytical activities in the different sectors including cooperation with IFIs and regional sectoral organisations and development of capacity building activities for beneficiaries.

Contract duration: the expert will be engaged on a full-time basis for the duration of the contract. The intended start date is in March 2014 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 24 months from this date.
