International Organisation hiring eCommerce Business Analyst

TEAM PURPOSE

To provide business analysis expertise to support the delivery of specific International Organisation objectives through business change initiatives

JOB PURPOSE

To apply business analysis knowledge and skills to ensure that business processes and information systems provide cost effective support to business teams in one significant area or several related areas in order to support the delivery of specific International Organisation objectives.

  • Communicating with business managers and staff to advise, influence and determine operational business needs.

  • Implementing agreed IS strategies and policies that may include managing relationships with external organisations.

  • Advising senior management on specialised areas of expertise.

  • Impact is significant across International Organisation in own discipline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse business systems relating to business change initiatives, identifying and evaluating options for improvement. Work with ambiguity within the change initiative.
  • Work with business change owners to gather, develop and document the business need, producing "as is" and "to be" business process maps and use cases.
  • Work with business change owners and IT suppliers (where required) to document and manage requirements and ensure they are clearly understood and necessary information is available

  • Understand perspectives of internal and external stakeholders and ensure issue resolution. Influence senior managers to achieve agreement.

  • Prepare option papers and business cases for proposed investments in systems

  • Support user acceptance testing of system changes (including planning, development of acceptance criteria, development of detailed acceptance scenarios for functional requirements, coordination of business acceptance stakeholders, logging issues, documenting and presenting test results)

  • Support implementation of new processes and system functionality including communications and provision of training materials for users and lead post implementation reviews.

  • Managing own work and report progress to Project Managers, budget holders and Business Analysis Team Lead.
