International Organisation hiring Youth and Gender Technology Expert

Position Summary

International Organisation seeks Youth and Gender Technology Expert candidates for anticipated education/technology centered international development programmes. The expected programmes will likely focus on enhancing the technological know-how of entrepreneurial women and youth in developing countries to better understand and successfully utilize technology to spur socio-economic growth.

Positions are contingent on funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage different types of technology platforms that will be developed to ensure the programme‚Äôs success and sustainability.

  • Provide creative vision, technical design, and implementation oversight to a capacity building technology programme with a focus on enhancing the technological aptitude of entrepreneurial women and youth.

  • Coordinate with local, regional and international organizations active in the technology sector to support the development of technology platforms to aid socio-economic development.

  • Train and coach women and youth leaders on the use of technology platforms, such as internet websites, mobile technology, and software coding, to advance development goals.

  • Provide support on technology software and hardware.

  • Measure effectiveness of technology platforms in meeting development goals.

  • Implement data-driven analytics and visualization tools to increase efficiency of monitoring and evaluation for project management.

  • Ensure that activities and milestones are implemented on track and that deliverables are of high quality.

  • Contribute to the development of annual plans, work plans, and reports.

  • Manage project staff and implementing partners.
